This is the dollar amount being sought against the U.S. Gubberment for damges caused by Katrina.
Rediculous. These people will be the first to claim that you can't place a price tag on their losses... but they're more than willing to try. No one is going to deny that they need help, but this shows that they're going to hold their fellow citizens responsible for an act of nature. Sue the government for living in a flood plane that... OMFG... flooded. What the hell did you expect to happen when a massive hurricane hits the mainland, picnic weather? Citizens of Mississipi were affected by the same storm, yet they seem to be recovering faster.
I'm less and less inclined to sympathize when crap like this happens.
